My Life in Pictures…
Hello, I’m Nathan! Here I am with my family in the Adirondack High Peaks region, one of our favorite places to visit each summer.
I have always loved connecting with people through open, exploratory conversations. When you listen carefully enough, people’s stories move closer to their core truth and the exchanges you have become deeply meaningful. Behind the camera, I watch carefully, patiently waiting to capture people’s unique character, mood and style in beautifully lit, natural looking photos.
Why having great photographs matters:
Our life’s time is limited, so it’s important to be intentional about marking milestones with images that bring us joy.
I met my wife, Noëlle, in 2010 and by July 2011, we were outdoors with all our friends and both our families under the outstretched branches of a hundred-year-old oak tree, promising each other the best of ourselves. Our life’s journey has been more intense and beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and it has shaped our perspective and given us greater courage to pursue our dreams to the fullest.
Our two daughters, Isla & Lulu, keep Noëlle & me connected to what is real and most important: the love and support that helps us all grow as individuals evermore ready to take on life’s challenges and better enjoy new experiences together as a family. We are happiest when we’re on a family vacation, sampling new local cuisine and coffee shops, hanging at the beach, hiking through the mountain woods, and just generally enjoying our time together.
Below are just a few of the images that bring me the greatest joy of my life. These photos have a value beyond words to me, as each is an invitation to a different memory of some of the recent experiences I’ve had with my family.
Celebrate the relationships that have brought you to where you are today: the deep soulful connection you have with your partner; the foundational love of your family; and the support and commitment of chosen, longtime friends.
Life moves quickly; let’s create the tracings of yours!
